Frequently, activities can be facilitated by have some form of advance registration. Examples would be youth conference, SA conferences, Girls Camp, Scout Camp, etc. Knowing how many will attend helps for planning and budget prep. The common practice for this is to pass out a hard copy registration form and have people turn it in, or use the permission/waiver form as a registration form. However, I have seen many wards and stake create their own registration websites (had to get a domain) or use one like EventBright.

It would be wonderful if we could have a registration option available for an event. Then, the users could click on it, and have a web based registration form displayed. For starters, a simple fill in the blank or even simpler, 'Check here if you plan to attend' would be great. Future features could include the ability to
- display a nice picture and info about the event
- download a flyer
- download permission and medical waiver forms
- link to online maps
- etc

A registration feature on the calendar would be of great value, and increase as online usage increases
