Sharing status on a private calendar
Say the bishop has his private interview calendar that can only be accessed by Bishop and Executive Secretary. And say syncing is working so the bishop can sync this calendar to his Android phone. The bishop's wife wants to know when her husband is busy. So she normally syncs his calendars with busy/available status to her Google calendar. Is there any way for her to get the busy/available status from this private calendar?

I don't see a way of doing that. It appears that in Google, a URL calendar is either private or completely public.

A word of warning for anyone trying to test this. It seems that once someone, in some account checks off "make this public", then Google will expose all the events in the URL to everyone (or at least that what it says it does on the details page.) I tried removing and re-subscribing and nothing worked. I finally had to go into the calendar at lds.org and have it generate a new key. That seemed to be the only way I could make my sync from lds.org private again.
