Friends:
Is it possible for Bishopric members to receive the same online calendar rights (in terms of defining locations, etc.) as Building Schedulers?
If yes, who would change or designate those rights?
Our challenge is that our building has 4 Wards and from what I can tell no Building Scheduler, hence no defined locations and a lack of efficiency in resource management and scheduling.
Many thanks,
ap.

It may be possible for a Stake Default Approver to set each of the bishopric members as Building Schedulers, but I'm not sure why you'd want to do that. That allows each bishopric to mess with the calendars of the other 3 wards. That sounds like a recipe for some real problems.
I think you'd be much better off coming up with a designated building scheduler - perhaps a member of the agent bishopric.

A stake approver designates a Building Scheduler for a location under Manage Locations and Resources. The position of building scheduler has nothing to do with any calling in MLS, but is a specific assignment made for a particular building using the Calendar's administration features, not MLS.apiket wrote:Thanks for your response. One designated member makes a lot of sense. Where would a Stake approver make the designation since the position is not available in MLS?

Correct - but it only appears for a default stake approver.

Yes. A stake default approver will see Manage Locations and Resources in the Options dropdown. Others don't see that option. See Managing Locations and Resources in the help system for more details.apiket wrote:Many thanks, this is an option within the online calendar correct?
