501c3 form? Tax Exempt Status for Non-Profit Organizations?
All,
A group of our members are going river rafting and the rafting company gives a discount to Non-Profit organizations. To prove that the Church is a Non-Profit organization (I don't even know if it is or not) they are requesting a 501c3 Form which is supplied by the IRS. Is this form something I can print out? Can I even provide it to the rafting company?
Please help.
Thanks!

We will assume the rafting is an approved Church sponsored event. To get such a form/certificate the Church tax department should be contacted.

That link does not work now. Anyone have the information for how to get the form that shows us as a non profit?

There is a number on the donor statement. There is another number here https://philanthropies.churchofjesuschr ... signations
It probably doesn't matter to the organization. You may still want to call the church in case the church wants you to use a particular number.

What is the current process to obtain a tax exemption form? Most of these posts seem to be old and I know the tax laws in the USA are an ever changing landscape
