Stake timeline

#1

Post by dalobo »

I think it would be good to see a timeline with the most important events of the unit or stack.
Changes of bishops, rededicated buildings, while this is associated with the timing of the stake.

Members would have a perspective more over time.

Thanks.

(Sorry for my English, I use translator. :o )

All the information you seek should be available in your stake or unit history. This information is not, however, available in electronic form. Someone in your stake or unit would have to manually create the timeline if you wanted to see that.

Some of that is available in CDOL. Within your stake those that have access to CDOL (see here for the list) can see the history of the callings for the Stake Presidency and Bishops. Also some information on when the units were created and moved.

Ryan, could you provide the specifics on how to find this information? I am only seeing current positions.

The last section on the unit's page is 'Historical Information' That is where you will find it. In your case you won't see much since your ward is quite new. It appears that ward callings don't have rights to see that at the stake level, but stake callings have the rights at the stake level and the wards/branches.

So for the OP that limited access provides little relief in getting that information for the general membership.
