Mobile Apps Bulletin Flyer

#1

Post by PatRichardson »

i think we need to send out flyers to all the wards (like the ones about EFY and LDSTech Conference). I have had many people ask me about them. I think it is time to get the word out. I am working on one now. I will post it when I finish.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What about having a QR barcode that when scanned, it pulls up mobile.lds.org.

It is quite impressive. Just one note: it looks like you neglected to update the Scripture Mastery text after copying it from Gospel Library.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

I don't think the Android version of LDS Tools supports the calendar. I'm not sure where that stands, since if you can get the new calendar to sync with Google, then it appears in your normal calendar anyway.

I'm not sure if it's better to keep quiet about a feature found only in the iOS version, try to explain what versions do what (and end up complicating your poster), or just leave it as-is and we end up with questions as to why some people can't find a feature that's mentioned. I tend to lean toward the first option (not mentioning a feature only found in one version) as being the least disruptive.
