Is there a way to change the default setting on the "Event Page" for the ENTIRE BUILDING check box. So very few events use the 'entire building' and it would be better if the list of resources showed up most all the time unless you really need the whole building.

Ask and ye shall receive. This was changed a week or so ago, and now the default is to have the "Use entire location for this event" check box NOT checked. Thus the list of specific resources is displayed as soon as you pick the location.
This is a very welcome improvement. Clearly the developers are listening!
