We have a member who submitted a tithing donation in 2010 to the bishopric, but it was not counted/posted to a batch until 2011. Is there any way to reflect the donation on the member's 2010 tax summary? Or can the donation be posted to a prior year?
I'm guessing the answer is "No" on this one, but figured I would ask. Thanks.
Post Donation to Prior Year?

The answer is "yes". See Year end donations. Please note, that the donation must be received or postmarked in 2010 to be counted in 2010. After that, sorry, it's against the law.

Russell got you to the right wiki page. Just a bit further down in the Correctionssection just follow the Donations in the wrong year for the procedures to rectify the situation where the donation was processed in the wrong year.RussellHltn wrote:The answer is "yes".
