Video editing

#1

Post by marianomarini »

Finally I found a video editor for my personal and church videos!
After several attempts my eyes fall into OpenShot. A multiplatform software (for Mac, Windows and Linux).
It's a very promising video tool with Blender interactions.
I installed OpenShot 1.2.2 and Blender 2.5.6beta for 3D animated titles.
It takes some correction but now it work on my UbuntuStudio 10.10 x64.
Take a look at www.openshot.org

Thanks for the link, it looks promising, however I can only see where Linux is supported, not Windows/Mac.

I have a VM running Ubuntu 10.10 x64. What did you have to correct in the program to get it to work?
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

You are rigth. I confuse it with Blender.
Any way. To be able to use title animation you need to do this:
1. Replace any "CENTRAL" labels with "CENTER" into all .xml files locate on /usr/lib64/pymodules/python2.6/openshot/blender directory.
Each file contain 3 labels to be changed.
I suppose that lib64 is because I use a 64 bit computer.
