I've just been able to see the DVD on the shelves at Deseret Book and how they are treating the matter of who it is from is interesting. There's the Deseret Book logo, and the Mormon Channel logo, with the new 'mormonchannel.org' URL under that. It also has the copyright as being held by Intellectual Reserve.

I work in the production industry, Yes a DVD may cost pennies to make but you have to add in the cost of the entire production, hiring a crew to shoot the video, travel, equipment rental, post production, all these things add up. At my office I can crank out several hundred DVD's in a day, if we sold them for pennies, we'd lose our shirts. $10 is a reasonable amount for a DVD.
