[font=&quot]Overview[/font]
[font=&quot]The Mobile Technologies Product Manager is a seasoned and experienced media professional responsible for working with others to better distribute the Church's audiovisual content. This person works with groups, internal and external, to identify opportunities for distributing church content via leading mobile platforms. It will be necessary to proactively interact with various Church organizations to stay current of their needs and initiatives. Once a mobile product opportunity is identified, this person works closely with the organization to develop and execute a plan for creating that solution. He or she works closely with producers, developers and other product managers within the Audiovisual Department to overcome a wide range of technical and process challenges in imaginative as well as practical ways. Thorough management of results and performance metrics is required.[/font]
[font=&quot]REQUIREMENTS[/font]
[font=&quot]Requires a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. An eight-year industry track record of successful technology product management is imperative. Must have [/font]
·[font=&quot]a strong understanding of mobile space and mobile apps and experience with mobile application design and development across the leading mobile platforms and devices[/font]
·[font=&quot]a passion for innovation, backed by demonstrated ability to execute and deliver [/font]
·[font=&quot]familiarity with information architecture/design and user experience best practices [/font]
·[font=&quot]strong interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate with technical leads, designers, and executives [/font]
·[font=&quot]the ability to translate business and technical concepts into functional specification documents [/font]
·[font=&quot]experience with data-driven decision-making[/font]
·[font=&quot]strong analytical and organizational skills[/font]
·[font=&quot]the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines[/font]
·[font=&quot]experience managing product requirement documents and building business cases that shape the development and delivery of services to customers[/font]
·[font=&quot]experience performing complex customer research and analysis of diverse cultures[/font]
·[font=&quot]a proven track record of successful product life cycle management and maintaining relationships with vendors and other business partners[/font]
·[font=&quot]experience influencing highly educated and skilled individuals in other departments and organizations[/font]
·[font=&quot]a current temple recommend and be a temple-worthy member of the Church[/font]
[font=&quot]Familiarity with intellectual property issues is desired. [/font]

[font=&quot]Work Breakdown[/font]
[font=&quot]40% - Understand Customers: Understand the customer base; understand business processes; and document customer requirements.[/font]

[font=&quot]15% - Communicate Product Availability: Creating marketing materials and product training materials.[/font]

[font=&quot]15% - Understand Product Alternatives: Understand industry directions; interact with vendors, consultants and professional groups; understand tradeoffs and value of alternatives.[/font]

[font=&quot]15% - Design Value Delivery System: Develop business case and feasibility analysis; identify organizational impact; identify customer impact.[/font]

[font=&quot]15% - Manage the Product Life Cycle: Create product plans; understand business risks and their mitigation; maintain/support the product; monitor/evaluate product performance; document key issues; manage license distribution, operating budgets and intellectual property rights; manage and track Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).[/font]
