Any idea how to access past orders for the ward on the new store.lds.org? You used to be able to look at previous orders, what they were, etc. on ldscatalog.com. Am I just missing it, is it gone forever, or is it still in work?
On a related note, any ideas on when the link to STAPLES will be active on the new site?

Can you log into ldscatalog.com and get it? Inconvenient, of course, but probably the only place to find the information at this point, if it is still available.nbllds wrote:Any idea how to access past orders for the ward on the new store.lds.org? ldscatalog.com no longer exists. All you get is a redirect to the new store site.lajackson wrote:Can you log into ldscatalog.com and get it? Inconvenient, of course, but probably the only place to find the information at this point, if it is still available.
I had the same thought a while ago, that my record of ordering has been cleared. I suppose it's possible that they might - at some point - transfer it over to the new site.

When the store went live, I was curious about this as well, I had hoped to point my stake's 12 new unit clerks that haven't ordered before the information about the 1/2 order for the gospel principles book. I thought they could just use the past order to see what this year's expense was going to be. However, since I couldn't access the stake's site I had to call in. I specifically asked about seeing the past history and the woman thought that we could, which I wasn't very convinced by. I ended up asking the clerks if they couldn't find it in last year's records to call in and get the data.

Well, that's not quite true. Ldscatalog.com does still exist -- you just have to be tricky in how you access it. For example, following this link will take you to the old Units login page, where you can still login and see your order history for the old site.techgy wrote:ldscatalog.com no longer exists.lajackson wrote:Can you log into ldscatalog.com and get it? I don't know how long the old site will be kept up. I sort of doubt that the order history will be moved to the new site; after all, the old history was connected with a unit login, which doesn't exist on the new site, and new order histories are associated with a person's particular account, not a shared unit account.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Thanks Alan. I wasn't aware that there was a trick to getting to it.Alan_Brown wrote:Well, that's not quite true. Ldscatalog.com does still exist -- you just have to be tricky in how you access it. I suppose that if an order history were important to have that a person could simply log into the old site and copy the information that's there. I'm with you though on anything being moved over. We start with a clean slate.
