Help Needed - Elder Anderson Broadcast Saturday 8/21

All,

Elder Anderson will be speaking to a multi-stake group of Single Adults at an Institute building in mesa AZ this Saturday night.

I am in charge of Broadcasting that meeting to a Stake center 1 mile away as an overflow solution.

We are using the Church issue encoder, decoder solution with the church issue Sony EVI cameras.

The signal from the camera, through the modulator and to all of the ancilliary rooms in the local institute building are perfect.

During the upload and download to the overflow building - we getting extreme signal quality loss with the image very washed out and loss of definition.

We have broadcast from this building before with much better results.

I have broadcast using this equipment many times before, so I am experienced with the nuances and such.

What I was wondering from this group - Is there some know issue with the server in Salt Lake that could account for this issue, and is there some contact that I can get ahold of.

I was hoping that a broadcast for a member of the twelve get me some priority support, but fo not know who to contact.

We are 79 hours from the beginning of the broadcast. Any help provided is appreciated.

I could be wrong, but that sounds like a problem in the analog domain, not the digital one. (Not unless some processing has been turned on that shouldn't be there.)

I think you're best chance is to call CHQ and ask the operator who handles building to building broadcasting.
