Question about the CDOL Release Notes

#1

Post by psnarula »

I have noticed that the last two versions of the CDOL release notes have listed issue numbers that the team uses internally:

https://tech.lds.org/wiki/index.php/CDO ... otes_2.4.2

Is there a place I can read more about these issues and their resolutions? I looked for something at Jira but couldn't find anything.

The wiki is the only public facing documentation of what's been happening with CDOL from a development and feature/bug fix perspective. The public part of Jira you can access is only for the Church sponsored, Community developed volunteer projects, of which CDOL is not a part of.

The issue numbers are listed there to help us manage the release notes/known issues more easily.

If you have specific ones you are interested in more details about, add a comment on the talk page and we can give you more details.

Also suggestions on what a good level of detail is would be welcome. Currently we just take the jira title, but sometimes that is very meaningful to us internally but not descriptive to those that aren't immersed in CDOL daily.
