One of our bishops is receiving an odd error today when attempting to log into the online missionary submission system. He is told that he doesn't have a role that grants him access. In essence, it seems it is no longer recognizing him as a bishop.
However, he shows up in the Stake MLS as the bishop, shows up in the ward MLS as the bishop, and shows up in the CDOL as the bishop. His log in works for the ward website, so he's entering the login credentials correctly. He has just somehow mysteriously lost access.
I know the CDOL has been having confirmed issues lately, but any suggestions on how to go about correcting this?
Bishop lost access to Missionary Submission System

Assuming he's showing up in the CDOL in a "normal" color and not in orange, I'd call Local Unit support.

My stake president and one of the bishops in our stake contacted me yesterday with this same issue.
The one common link between the two is that they are both Mac users. Could it be an incompatibility with a new version of Safari? Probably not, because the stake president was able to log in using my credential. He was also able to log in successfully last night from home.

p.s. One other piece of information. The stake president told me that when he tries to access MSS (this has been going on for some time), he gets redirected to a place to change his LDS account password. He does so and then his credentials work fine for every other service that requires LDS account login except MSS.

Thanks for the clarification. This bishop had also changed his password and can login to every other service but MSS.toddnielson wrote:p.s. One other piece of information.
