Can I produce some "bishop's" business cards

#1

Post by mprusse »

As a bishop visiting many less active and non-members, I would love to have a business card to leave with them that would include the ward name, my contact information and ward web site & address.

Does anyone know if there is anything like this available now or would I have to produce my own.

Thanks!

My ward made our own.
Its just a generic card with the building address, phone number and a little map (our building is hard to find). Also blank lines to fill in the times of the block. Real easy to leave at the door while visiting inactives.

I am not aware that anything like this is available through the Church. I think you are on your own.

And I believe we cannot put the Church logo at these business cads.

When I'm a missionary, I can remember some Church employees and senior missionaries at Brazilian Church Offices in São Paulo uses a business card with a light blue Church logo in the left part of the card and all other informations in a black standard font in the right part of the site (the name, the calling, the unit address or personal address, email and phone).

Since stationary is available in USA by Distribution Services, I immagined it can be made easy available to Church general and area autorities, but I don't believe it's available to bishops and stake presidents, for exemple. In "international areas" (outside USA and Canada), any stationary (including letterheads and envelopes) are available from the Church, and leaders need to create it using commercial companies or personal computers to do that.

Business Cards

When I was a Bishop I had cards made up for myself. Then when I was released and called to be the stake public affairs director my regional leader gave me a form to fax back to SLC for business cards. Contact the distribution center. They may have a form to fill out. The cost was billed to the stake account.

In the past we've bought the "Pass-Along Card: Finding Faith in Christ" to put a sticker we print on a portion of the back. $2.00 for 100, plus laser sticker cost.
