Webcast Communicator Box Overheating

We've been using the Webcast Communicator box for about a year or two now and haven't had any trouble with it except this last weekend. Toward the end of our stake conference, it appears to have overheated and crashed. Has anyone else had a problem with overheating on these boxes? We could always set up a little fan next to it, but for $1500, it seems like it should be designed well enough to not need it.

The only time I have seen this happen and been able to duplicate it is when there is poor circulation around the communicator. I am testing one right now that I was told had this issue and it has now been running on my desk for over 20 hours. It should be fine with good air circulation.

I like to keep things simple. So you may just want to blow it out, the collected dust bunnies can cause havoc with the processor and video card and the collection of dust on the ports need to be cleaned as well. My 2 cents.
