Deceased child on IOS

#1

Post by cooleric1234-p40 »

We have a couple in our ward who had a child 20 years ago but he died within a few months. He does not show up in the IOS, but my Stake Clerk said he should. The logical step is to add the child then enter the information for when he died. However, since he would be over 8 now I can't add the record without creating a Convert Baptism. Any ideas on how to proceed?

Sorry for being the one who asks a lot of questions, just seems like this is a great resource.

I would use the special request function to explain to CHQ what's needed.
