Translation Assistance Needed

#1

Post by mkmurray »

There is a need for some volunteer translators to translate simple phrases for a new media cataloging and playback project at the Church. The phrases need to be translated into 5 languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean).

Now they also need French, German, Chinese (Cantonese), Russian, and Japanese.

I updated the languages to show Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Traditional is used in Taiwan (Mandarin) and Hong Kong (Cantonese) while China (Mandarin) uses Simplified Chinese.

The Spanish translation for this project is completed on the Translation Assistance page, but it can always use review.

We still need French, Korean, Russian, and Japanese.

Why not contact the church administration offices for these countries? I'm sure there would be volunteers there that would be happy to help.

Thanks, I inputed that comment before I took a peek at the page. The Spanish is correct, however the word descargar is used more commonly for "download" than bajar.
