Dependent Branch Leadership

#1

Post by ThomsonMA »

In our stake we have 3 dependent branches: two associated with senior centers and a singles branch. In each case the leadership is drawn from other wards in the stake. In setting up their LUWS, there does not appear to be a way to specify the leadership since their memberships are not in the unit.

Am I missing something or is there a way to do this?

The stake website administrator needs to add them as a Non-Resident Member (he can specify which ward/branch in the stake they are assigned to). Then they will be able to see their branch's web site, and they will also appear in membership directories and then can be added to leadership directories.

See Non-Resident members in LUWS in the wiki for details.
