Does anyone have a presentation or tutorial that shows members who are new to LUWS (and possibly the Internet) how to use the system and navigate through it?
I had a request from a member of our Stake but did not find anything on the forum or even Google.

Once a member logs into their local unit web site (LUWS) then click on Help. You'll find a set of instructions that help a person to become familiar with the capabilities and how the site is used.opee wrote:Does anyone have a presentation or tutorial that shows members who are new to LUWS (and possibly the Internet) how to use the system and navigate through it?

It wouldn't be hard to print those instructions and hand them out in hard copy format to the members of the ward.
Have you read the Code of Conduct?

It's a bit dated, but there is a pretty good introductory presentation in this post. Perhaps that would be a starting point for you. It would have to be updated to describe LDS Account.opee wrote:Does anyone have a presentation or tutorial that shows members who are new to LUWS (and possibly the Internet) how to use the system and navigate through it?

If you do manage to update the presentation, it would be helpful to post a copy to the forum.Alan_Brown wrote:It's a bit dated, but there is a pretty good introductory presentation in this post. Perhaps that would be a starting point for you. It would have to be updated to describe LDS Account.

Big Thanks
Hi All
My Stake in Australia, has just recently embarked on the journey of setting up the Local Unit Website. I just wanted to say THANKS to all those people that have put up information on how their stake is using the websites, as this has been invaluable in starting to look at what processes and procedures we will use in our stake.
I had a chance this morning, as a member of the Stake High Council, to introduce the websites to all of the Bishoprics, Stake Presidency and High Council in our Stake PEC meeting. Using a number of the documents that many of you have put together, I was able to collate a number of them and use them in the training.
So once again
THANKS!!!
Adam
