CSV format for Quarterly report

#1

Post by brianc-p40 »

The quarterly report provides valuable information for a quarter. We have in the past, used a spreadsheet to map that over time, so we can see trends. That proved to be a time consuming process because the data had to be re-entered by hand.

If we could get the data in the printed Quarterly statistics report in a soft format, such as a CSV file, we could pull the data in and prepare a view over time.

Is there a way to get the data in a soft format?

As with most screens in MLS (financial data is the big exception), you can click somewhere in the Quarterly Report then click Ctrl+Shift+C (or using the Menu, do File > Copy to Clipboard). Then you can paste the data in a spreadsheet for further formatting and analysis.

Note that for the quarterly report, there are some cells you can click in where Ctrl+Shift+C won't work, so your best bet is the upper left corner cell, or just do File > Copy to Clipboard.
