Family Safety with Technology Fireside

Post by derraleves-p40 »

Our Stake is looking to put on a Fireside for Family Safety with Technology. The Stake President asked me to find someone that would be able to present material to help families be safe and informed.

I need to find someone for September 27, 2009. I know this is short notice. It will be held in the LaVerkin Stake Center (20 miles from St. George Utah and 16 miles from Zion National Park).

If I can't find anyone, does anyone have a powerpoint and any other information that would be useful.

Thanks.
:)

It's still in process, but there is some helpful information on the wiki under Family Safety. There's the start of information for a presentation (but it's not in PowerPoint format yet).

Go to The Internet Safety Podcast. The folks there have done an outstanding job at creating podcasts on this very subject. Although it doesn't solve your issue of finding someone for next month, it does provide very good, sound advice. It also helps that this is being produced out of BYU - so you be assured that the advice given is aligned with your beliefs and coincides with council given by General Authorities.
