Elder Andersen's Picture via Church Distribution?

Hello, I'm just wondering why we are not yet able to order a picture of our newest Apostle, Elder Andersen, via Church Distribution. Our Stake Center is probably like many in that we have pictures of the First Presidency and Quorum on the Twelve. Although right now we have a blank spot for Elder Andersen.

Any idea why the delay in making his picture available? Are there any other Church Distribution-like systems where I might order the picture as the Stake Clerk?

I would suggest that you use the Feedback form that's available on lds.org to send in your request. Although it's possible that someone in the responsible department might see your request, not all of the departments of the church monitor this forum.

My guess - and it's only an opinion, is that it takes some time to have these photos available.

I would hope that his picture will be out this month. Once it is available they will list it on ldscatalog.com under the new items. They are taken advanced orders if you call the Dist. Center. The order number is 08383000. There will also be new 12 Apostle pictures in these sizes: 16x20, 11x14, 8 1/2 x 11.
