Upgrade: Help Test Beta Site

#1

Post by McDanielCA »

The LDSTech site is undergoing an upgrade. The upgrade will not affect the LDSTech Wiki or the LDSTech Forums. The upgraded site will have improved navigation. Irrelevant or outdated content will be removed. Before we release this change, please view the beta site (tech.lds.org/beta). Check for broken links, formatting, and other bugs throughout the site. Report any problems to tech@ldschurch.org.

I thought I had reported this to Tom before, but I'll do so here as well. I get some spacing and clipping issues with the date and time string in the heading of each article, as seen in this image below:

It's on the main page as well as the pages for each individual article. I am running Vista SP1 with IE7.

The page is displaying properly if I use FireFox.
Using IE6 shows the same distortion as you see.
I'm running XP-Professional
Have you read the Code of Conduct?

All the links in the 'Recent Forum Posts' column result in a HTTP 404 error, "The webpage cannot be found". The error in the links is the 's' added to the word 'forum' in the URL. For example the first link URL for the 'Fast Offering Tracker' thread is 'http://tech.lds.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2908' when it should be 'http://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2908'.

Have you tried finding your answer on the ChurchofJesusChrist.org Help Center or Tech Wiki?

Great catch, I confirm the results. Clicking on any of those forum links does indeed produce 404 Not Found errors.

Sorry for the repeat bug reports. We know some are still there that have been previously reported, we just wanted as many eyes to see the site as possible.

Cassie,

What's the cutoff for submitting feedback?

Thanks--

You can still submit feedback for about another week.
