Numbers have changed??
I prepare a weekly report for our stake president on stake numbers. I have noticed that the numbers for Temple Recommend Status, and Ministering Interviews have changed how they are presented. For example, on Temple recommends, the denominator seems to include the entire population of the stake and not just those who are endowed. Similarly, for ministering if you click on either the Brothers or Sisters ministering interviews hyperlink the denominator numbers are different than those represented on the first page. These two changes dramatically change the numbers and our stake trends. Thank you for any explanation you can offer.

Re: Numbers have changed??
I don't have access to those reports and don't have insight into if there have been changes, but a couple of thoughts:
Over the past 5 years or so, the Church has been increasing their emphasis on youth and recent converts receiving temple recommends to perform baptisms for the dead. It would make sense to include these members on the report even if they aren't endowed. However, I would expect younger children to be excluded from the report. Are you able to tell if the denominator corresponds with stake membership minus the Primary children?barwillhansen wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 10:00 am For example, on Temple recommends, the denominator seems to include the entire population of the stake and not just those who are endowed.
It was a few years ago, but do you think this could correspond to the change in 2019 encouraging more participation of youth in ministering?barwillhansen wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 10:00 am Similarly, for ministering if you click on either the Brothers or Sisters ministering interviews hyperlink the denominator numbers are different than those represented on the first page.

I cannot see what the Stake sees, only local unit info. And I'm uncertain what exact report you're pulling data from. At the local level, I can see the Quarterly Report which has both ministering interview and recommend status. The Key Indicators Report (quarterly numbers) and the Unit Statistics Report (I believe up-to-date numbers) only contain the recommend status, not the ministering info.
All these reports specify that the recommend numbers listed are for "Endowed with current recommend". And at least for my unit, the percentages are correct. Likewise, in the Unit Statistics, when I click on the hyperlinks for the recommend status values, the numbers are the same (well, one of the numbers was off by "1", but nothing major).
Perhaps I've just missed a report that both the Stake and local leaders can see, so if you can specify which report you're accessing, that might help somebody in the Forum provide a more specific response.
