Where is Cebuano?

#1

Post by jay.askren »

I served my mission in the Philippines speaking Cebuano. Cebuano is the fifth most spoken language in the church. I was wondering why there are no Cebuano resources on the church website. In the past I've listened to conference live in Cebuano and then later thought it was strange that the cebuano recording was not archived on the website. Looking at the website there are three Filipino languages on the church website: Tagalog, Illocano, and Hiligaynon. Illocano and Hilligaynon don't have as many speakers as Cebuano. Cebuano is even on the General Conference DVD. So I was curious if there was a reason that Cebuano is not on the website? Thanks.
