Sacramentans assembling for Bay Area Tech Talks

#1

Post by jmasters-p40 »

On the LDSCIO web site, a discussion arose about having a Tech Talk in the bay area somewhere between Apr. 22-26. There has been enthusiastic response about the possibility of attending one. But Sacramentans, being a fickle bunch:D and LOVING our new LOCAL (not bay area) temple, or having tried to escape the bay area traffic anyway, have stated their desire for a Sacramento conference.

This thread is for those of you who are in denial. :)

If there's interest in carpooling, networking, etc. then THIS IS THE *RIGHT* PLACE!

Here's the thread that started the discussion. [site is out of service]

If you're interested in carpooling, speak up!

As the time gets closer, we'll find a way to swap phone numbers or email addresses to finalize carpooling arrangements offline.

Maybe we can descend on some poor hapless restaurant afterwards to brainstorm about the topics that were discussed, or learn something about one another's talents.

Carpooling on April 25 from Sacto to Mountain View?

#2

Post by jmasters-p40 »

Looks like April 25 is the day! I and one other person are going down to see the Bay Area tech talk. I'll be traveling down 50 to downtown, and then out. If it's timed well, we can even get a session in the temple down there too. :-) That's not firm, but it's a goal.

Anybody else wanna come along for the ride?
