PEC and WML

I know that the answer varies with each ward, but how long do you spend each week in PEC discussing the ward missionary needs with the WML? We tend to spend on average 30 minutes. A good portion of the discussion is how the investigators are doing....will they be a church...what lesson was taught..etc.....

I don't have a good answer for you, but I will note that it sounds like you're talking about individuals instead of coordinating calendars and programs. That's a step up from most PEC meetings I've attended.

I suspect the correct answer lies in how many ward individuals don't get discussed. If no one is neglected, then I don't see a problem. :)

I will say that if this is merely reporting and it doesn't create any action from the rest of the PEC committee, then I'd suggest there's a need for change, IMHO.

I would have to believe that this would depend entirely upon what the local leadership wanted. Having served in a Bishopric many years ago, we usually dedicated about an hour for the PEC meeting. Sometimes less. But, again this would depend upon what we had to discuss. I don't think there's any set time, except to fill the needs of the local leadership.
