Handbook updates?

Has there been any notice as to when the Handbooks will be updated to match all the recent changes?

I am sure they are working on it, but there has never been any notice before the changes are published. Keep in mind that the changes will appear first in the online versions of the Handbooks. Based on the occasional comment I have read, I wonder if the actual hard-copy books will be updated again.

In the meantime, keep those First Presidency letters, notices, and FAQs handy.

The Handbook was updated to reference unified Melchizedek priesthood quorums, and ministering instead of home teaching, in October 2018, which was six months after the changes were announced (April 2018). I'm sure progress is being made, but it may take a while.
