membership status

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

membership status

Help please. When I tried to access my stake information it wouldn't give me anything. Then I clicked on the button for member ship status, it says that I am not a member !!!!!! How do I change this?

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I have this same issue and I’ve tried step No. 5 and it just keeps telling me I’ve “indicated I am not a member. Please change Your membership status”. But it does not tell me how to do this or where to go. When I enter my membership number I just get the same message over and over. How do I change my membership status? Putting in my records number and birthday just sends me chasing my own tail again...

For anyone who has not tried that procedure, that would be a good thing to try first.

While it's not entirely clear whether the situations described in this topic match the symptoms of duplicate accounts (one with the MRN, one without), one option to find out whether that might be the case is to use the 'forgot my username' link and using your MRN to try to retrieve the username (and temporary password) for the account linked to that MRN. If you do have duplicate accounts, your ward clerk can help you merge them.

Even for cases that do not involve duplicate accounts, your ward clerk should be able to help get things fixed. Alternatively, you can use the link at the bottom of the help page mentioned above. I need help to add my membership record number to my account, when I add my MRN it tells me the account already exists or Birthday and name I have my MRN from my Bishop trying to add to my account . I did have an account as a non member now I am a member help please .
