Ward Members who served missions and where
Is there a way to create a custom query to show who in the ward served mission and where they served at? If this is possible how would one create it?

You can create a custom report:ironhorse2004 wrote:Is there a way to create a custom query to show who in the ward served mission and where they served at? If this is possible how would one create it?
- In MLS, go to Reports/Forms > Custom Reports
- Click Add Report (in upper right corner)
- Give your report a name and optional description
- Click the Add Criteria button.
- Choose Mission Country; set the Compare Operation to "has a value"
- Click Next
- Check the boxes by Mission Country and Mission Language
- Click Save, then Close
- To run the report, click on the report name

Hummm, thanks for the help. I thought I looked on Sunday if you could query by Mission Country. I will look again, must have been a over site. Thanks!

This is a very useful and important tool as we help in Hastening the Work.
There is much more to the story, but we recently needed someone to help the missionaries teach a person from Indonesia. I did the report from our ward and didn't find anyone, but we did find a member in the stake who served there and actually interprets General Conference every six months.
This is just one of many experiences we have had that confirm to us that the Lord is watching and actively helping our efforts.

Custom reports are not yet available at LCR. It has been said that capability is coming, but it is already among the last items to be implemented online.esanzgar wrote:Anyway to produce the list through leaders and clerk resources in lds.org?
However, you should be able to use the custom reports function of MLS to produce this report. You will be able to get the language spoken in the mission, but not the actual mission name. If you need to know the actual mission, you will have to ask the returned missionary.
