I have a personal standard policy of changing my passwords at the beginning of every month, so I am very familiar with the process, having done this regularly for years. Today, the process is not working. The first time i tried it, the page did not change after I set the new password and clicked on the save button. I tried logging in after and finally realized that the change did not take. I tried it again without clicking on the show button (new password twice) and immediately the screen said that the session had timed out. My login was still the old one.
Usually when I have technical problems, I call in and go through the long process of connecting with someone and then getting a case set up. Rather than that this time I decided to try this method (the forum). Is there a better way to go for help when there is a technical problem?
I will try again later, but I need to change the password as my mental system for passwords depends on getting the passwords changed month by month.

There seem to be some sign-in problems this morning. Most things are working, but I'm not able to sign in on Gospel Library for iOS. I think it's probably something that will be fixed later in the day.

I can't find the post now, but I recall that recently someone reported that they were unable to change the password until they cleared the browser history or something like that. You might give that a try.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Maybe clearing browser cache, or deleting cookies / saved passwords? Depending on your browser, you may be able to delete the cookies and/or any saved passwords only for *.LDS.org, without clearing out everything.
