LDS Account Signin

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

LDS Account Signin

Hi! I am working on developing an LDS note app, and I wondered if there was any way I could implement signin with an LDS account into my app. Is this a possibility? I know about the FamilySearch API... could they be used compatibly? Thanks so much!

You can try and ask via permissions.lds.org.

But frankly, outside of FamilySearch partners, I'm not aware of any third party app who has been given permissions to use LDS Accounts.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
