Missionary Tablets - Replacing Ipads: Galaxy Tab S2 restriction

#1

Post by Captain.Moroni »

Some missionaries in our Ward recently got a Galaxy Tab S2 in place of ipads.
They wanted to load/backup some pictures to a computer but the Tab S2 has Knox Restrictions on it.

Does anyone know of a work around to be able to transfer pictures to / from their Galaxy Tab S2?

Since I think the missionary accounts are rebranded google accounts, you might see if you have access via photos.{domain}, much like photos.google.com would get you the on-line photo backup of an Android account.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Could you save photos to a Google Drive folder?

So is this what you are talking about when you say "Knox Restrictions?":

(Curious because my son just entered the MTC and was required to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2)
