Add a record for non-member family members?

#1

Post by cboshdave »

Isn't there a way to create a Non-Member Record for families that have non-members in them. Sometimes it is a spouse, sometimes the children were not ever setup, but both parents are baptized. I thought there was a way to setup these "placeholders". It is a great way to track these individuals and help auxiliary groups focus on missionary work when these people appear on lists. Sometimes, it just makes people feel more welcome as well.

Maybe that exists? I cannot find it though.

If they've reached the age of 8, no. There is no was. There was, but it was removed some time ago.

If they're not yet 8, you can create a "child of record" in accordance with Handbookk 1: 13.6.2
