I am temporarily serving as clerk in a military branch in the middle east. For several years, the members were tracked via a spreadsheet (no records are pulled for the members who are here for varying numbers of months). We do not have MLS. We recently gained access to our branch through LCR and are trying to get away from a spreadsheet.
When I enter members as out-of-unit members, they appear in LCR, but not in the branch directory. I read in another post that out-of-unit members who have a standard calling in the unit will show in LDSTools, but what about the directory on LDS.org? Is there a way to have the Directory show members and out-of-unit members as it does in LCR?
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thank you,
Dave Sudweeks

Re: Out-of-unit members in military branch
No, the LDS.org Directory is a little bit behind LDS Tools and Leader and Clerk Resources, and hasn't had significant updates for a while. So, unfortunately, it doesn't show out-of-unit members. I don't know if an update is planned for the future, but I wouldn't count on it anytime soon.
