LDS scriptures account name change

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

LDS scriptures account name change

My wife's account name comes up in settings on the LDS scriptures app and I can't find a way to edit it. I haven't received the new update of the app and she has on her device. I thought if I put it in my name I would receive it.

What OS? Updates are not based on usernames.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.
