How to retrieve the most recent Signature Card?

#1

Post by JorgensenHans »

Recently, we called a new Ward Clerk, and as far as we can recall, we printed out a Signature Card so that he can sign reimbursement checks. We believe we sent the card in, but he came in today and claimed that we had not done a signature card. That's easy enough to solve with another signature card, of course, but that brings up the question: is it possible to download or otherwise retrieve the Signature Card that was most recently received by Church headquarters?

A scanned image would be best, but a verified list of names or even just a date would work just fine. I just want a way to be able to verify that we've sent in Signature Cards so that we don't keep printing them in hopes of making sure that they're correct, or worse, thinking that we already did do a signature card and finding out from a Church audit that we had not.

As far as I know there isn't any way of seeing the most recent signed card in any form. It's possible that Local Unit Support could provide something that but it's probably easier to print and mail a new one if you aren't sure.

You could make a copy every time you print a new one, and file it away.
