Pre-Generated Donor Statement period is incorrect

When I go to print off the Pre-Generated Donor Statements from LCR it has a date on the PDF file of 1 NOV. 2016. The pages in the file have a period listing on the right top of each page that says the document reflects donations from 1 Jan. 2016 to 1 Nov. 2016. Near the top left there is also a date of 7 Oct. 2016 with no label about what it means.
When looking through the documents there are no donations recorded after 7 Oct. 2016. I am hesitant to hand these out because it clearly says the period goes through 1 Nov. 2016. If I hand these out I am going to get several people coming back saying that I have not recorded all of their October donations. The donations are recorded, they just don't show up in this Pre-Generated Donor Statement file.

That is true. Despite the title, it really is only until 7 Oct.

I hadn't noticed the period, just the October date. I expect that was the period they selected for the report but since they generated them before the end of the period it could very well be confusing. I distributed our statements within a few days of when they were generated so it wasn't so much of an issue then (it would be obvious that it didn't include donations after they received the paper).

You could generated new reports but if you only want to include those who didn't donate online you'd need to go through the pre-generated statements and check the same people when generating the statements.

Thanks eblood66. We are planning on just generating the statements for people as they come in to meet with the Bishop. That way the statement is up to date on whichever day they have the meeting and we know there isn't anything missed.

We had the idea of trying to go "paperless" and have the member themselves log onto their LDS account in the clerk's office while waiting for the bishop. This allows the member to check their donations and has the side effect of showing the member the donation tool, as well as making sure their LDS account login works.
