Where to get replacement microphones for the primary room

#1

Post by dougj »

Hi,

We are in need of purchasing three microphones for our building's primary room. The one that is/was there keeps getting lost so each ward wants to have their own, which each will be responsible for.

To my understanding, this is the type of microphone that has has about a 18-24" flexible tube that connects to the primary room podium and to microphone. Both connections are xlr.

Does anyone have suggestions on where to buy these?

Check with the stake high councilor assigned to physical facilities.

The FM group is responsible to provide a microphone for the Children's Meeting Room. We keep ours on the shelf in the podium when not in use, so it always is available when needed.

If the microphone is disappearing, I would suggest locking it in a closet where each ward has access, or keeping it in the Media Center (Library). There is no need to have more than one, and if theft is the problem, you have a bigger problem that needs solving anyway.
