Changing LDS Account User Name

I am trying to help a member of our ward change his LDS account user name. But I can't find a way to do that. How is this done? Any help provided would be appreciated.

Click on the box showing the Username. Change the name. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

I have the very same problem
The only thing I can edit is the "display name", not the username
I attached a screenshot of how the whole page looks. Also, I cannot click any other box than the "display name"

That's interesting, because I have the box for username. I wouldn't think that's because of my calling - I don't have rights to membership records.

Are you under 18? That's the only restriction that I can think of that makes sense.

Members who are in the Church workforce (which you clearly are, since your LDS Account profile includes the "Workforce" tab) are not allowed to change their username. There are a variety of ways you could be considered to be in the workforce, including being an actual employee of the Church, or a person with access to certain Church systems because of your calling or assignment (such as a seminary teacher or some full-time or service missionaries).

Note that if you are a church employee or otherwise under "workforce", you won't be able to change your name.
