Notes in Reports

#1

Post by nleepete »

It would be nice to be able to add notes to the visiting teaching report.

For example: when someone doesn't want to be visited, or if they have moved and we have no forwarding address.

It would be wonderful to be able to flag them somehow so that we have a place where information can be stored, so that all Auxiliaries can see it and we all don't keep following up on the same thing.

Not likely to happen. The church is very sensitive about the kinds of information they keep in systems like that. It can create legal issues down the road. If the member doesn't want to be visited, then they need to report that back and adjust the contact style accordingly. If they've moved with no forwarding address, then they need to report that back as well so the membership clerk can begin the process.

thanks....we already do those things...just thought it would be easier to be able to track those members in a different way...keep them in a separate report so we work their records without keeping the record in the main reporting area.
