Re: Not accepting my Member number
First, verify with your ward clerk that it is your number. If you're looking at your temple recommend, it could be wrong.
Second, one reason it may reject your number is if it's associated with another account. At the login screen, select "forgot username" and use your MRN to recover it.

Which recovery option(s) did you use? Did you try recovering with your membership record number? What error did you get?agvaanm wrote:Hi my account is not working.. I'm using my sisters account to post this.

Re: Not accepting my Member number
When you use the recover username ("Forgot your username?), make sure to select the "Membership Record Number (MRN)" option. When that is selected you will have to enter your birth date. Nothing will be sent to you. The system searches for the account username associated with the MRN and confirmed by the birth date. When it is found you will be given the username associated with your MRN. Then you can proceed to reset the password. Also use the "Membership Record Number (MRN)" option. Once again, nothing will be sent to an email address nor will a text message be sent. Once the account has been recovered then you should check the account contact information.
Note that you should get your MRN from your ward clerk as any other source, such as a temple recommend, can be incorrect. Also use the birth date in your membership record. If the birth date in the membership record is not correct, you can get that corrected after you recover your LDS Account.

Trying to recover the user name for a member, but always get this message: This recovery option is not available for this account. Please try another option.
All other recovery methods give the same message. Do I have to call the Church?

It looks that way. What calling does the person have? The system may not allow the recovery of "high value" accounts, like bishops and stake presidents. Otherwise, it would be too easy to hack into their accounts.jwaynerogers wrote:Do I have to call the Church?

We are in a district, and he is the Executive Sec. Maybe that is why. His account was set up a while ago, and he has not needed to use it till now. There is a form he has to get to, which was on MLS, but is not on the internet side. He is very frustrated.

Re: Not accepting my Member number
My wife was called as the Relief Society President. She does not remember her user name/password and the email used no longer exists, when we try to recover her account using the MRN and birtday we get the account does not exist. But when we try to create an account we get the account already exists. What are our next steps?
