MRN in the wrong account

#1

Post by marielhuertasu »

Hi, My name is Maria Huertas an I want to know how can I delete my old account.
Years ago I created an LDS account, but I don't remember the username or password of that account. So I created this one, and I have been using this one for a while already. I am trying to register my Membership Record Number, but is not letting me because I registered it in my old account. So, I would like to delete my old account and continue using this one. I really need help with that as soon as possible.

You can recover the username and password for the old account by going to the LDS Account sign in page and use the "Forgot your username?" link and then proceed to recover it using the "Membership Record Number (MRN) option. Once you have the username you can then proceed to reset the password using the MRN option again.

Regardless of which account you choose to continue to use you will need to work through your ward clerk to call the global service center (GSC) to delete one of the accounts or merge the accounts
