Out of Unit Members

#1

Post by gogobot3 »

We currently have a pair of Sr. Missionaries serving in our ward. They are expected to be with us for sometime. I have added them as Out-of Unit members, yet they still do not appear in the ward list as FAQ indicates should be the case. We would like them to have access to ward list via LDS Tools. Any ideas how to pull this off?

In addition to having an out of unit member record they must have a standard calling recorded. A suggestion has been made to use the Ward Missionary position. But any standard calling that fits will suffice.

Which seems a little odd. I thought out-of-unit records was supposed to be the fix for children who alternated between wards. Or is putting them in a class do it?

Adding them as out-of-unit records gets them to show up in lists in LCR. I don't know if they show up in the ward list in LDS Tools or not. But the op was asking about giving them access via LDS Tools and that requires them to have a standard calling at this point.
