Contacts on Tools

#1

Post by vickilynnlucas »

My husband and I have been called as missionaries over the Spanish Branch in Kamas Utah that covers the area of two stakes Coalville Utah and Kamas stakes. Our meberships have been changed from the Coalville Stake to the Kamas stake however we live in Coalville and part of our assignment is to keep in contact with the members of the Coalville stake. The problem is....when they moved our memberships from Coalville to Kamas we acquired the Tools application for Kamas and lost the Tools app for Coalville. What do we need to do to have access to both....adding Coalville back on.
Thanks

Your ward in Kamas stake should transfer your records back to where you live in the Coalville stake, and then create an out-of-unit membership record for you. Out-of-unit records allow your records to remain in your home ward (where, assuming you're service missionaries, you'll go for things like temple recommends, etc.) while giving you access to tools you need to fulfill your calling in your service ward.

After the out-of-unit records are created for you in the Kamas ward, you will need to be assigned to a standard calling (depending on your specific assignment, this should be easy – like branch president, for example – but otherwise it will need to be another standard calling like ward missionary or indexing worker). Then, you'll have access to everything in LDS Tools and online for both stakes.
