How my son gets his own account

#1

Post by my4kydzmom »

I need help. I have been paying my tithing online. I love it! My adult return missionary wants to pay his tithing online too. When he tries to register, it says there is already an account for that MRN. When he uses his MRN to retrieve his username and password, it takes him to my account. How do I get his MRN unlinked to my registration and have his own so he can pay his tithing online?

Go to LDS Account, and click on membership. Verify that the MRN there is yours and not your son's. While you're there, verify the birthdate which is pulled from the membership record based on the MRN.

I wouldn't trust the MRN written on a temple recommend. Ask the clerk for a IOS to verify what MRN is yours.
