We are transitioning from the old church broadcast system to the new vidiu unit. All the pieces are in place from using the old system (which we have not done since last fall) we run the microphones through a sound board, and have a ceiling mounted Sony camera. We just need to shift the video broadcast to the vidiu.
I would like some feedback on which streaming service people have had the best success with: Ustream? livecast? youTube Live? Is there another option?
I was leaning towards youtube live only to find out the firewall was blocking it. (who could alter that for me?)
Also, how long will the old legacy system be available? Is it still running and dependable?
Any help, tips, and tricks on optimizing the broadcast with the vidiu would be a appreciated...

The church provides their own, supported streaming infrastructure. Check out the details provided on configuring the Vidiu here: https://www.lds.org/help/support/meetin ... t?lang=eng
