Branch President locked out of account

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. This forum is a space to discuss all things related to Church Accounts (registration, account recovery, user experience, vulnerabilities, etc.).

Branch President locked out of account

I am a missionary in Argentina and our Branch President tried to log into his LDS account but for some reason it doesn´t recognize his username or his password, he has no idea why and says he has used the account before and it worked in the past. He asked me to sign into mine so I could post this and we could find out what was wrong (since he won´t be able to post anything without signing into his account which he is currently locked out of). We called Church Services but it seems like they are closed today (it´s Saturday). If we could get a response as fast as possible it would be ideal because we have very limited computer access.

Use the "Forgot your password?" link on login page to try to reset the password. If it doesn't recognize the username for the password reset then use the "Forgot your username?" link and try to recover the username using his Membership Record Number. Most likely he is mis-remembering his username or password. If it doesn't find an account for his MRN then it may not have been linked to his number. In that case he should be able to just create a new account using his MRN.

You may be forced to wait until Monday. I'm not sure if a branch president's account can be recovered using the usual methods. He has access to too many things.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
